Selfish and despicable Penny (Jacqueline McKenzie) and her son (Jacob Chase) have just been booted out of Penny's boyfriend's apartment. And for the next 48 hours, the dispossessed twosome shuttles around Los Angeles in Penny's truck, conjuring a plan to get back on the boyfriend's good side -- and get off the street. Costars Aida Turturro as a freaked-out drug addict (shades of her role on "The Sopranos"). Written and directed by Mary Kuryla.
