The lives of four college freshmen connect in this compelling drama. San (Tom Huang) is a Chinese-American male who detests his Chinese heritage and is a Billy Joel fanatic. Inner-city girl Tonisha (N.D. Brown) juggles her pre-med classes with paying her family's bills. Rick (Kurt Koehler) is an east-coast preppie who must to adapt to the diversity around him. Meanwhile, Judy's (Margaret Scarborough) partying ways get out of control.
