Despite a doctor's discovery of a malignant tumor in her throat, 12-year-old Kouyama Mitsuki is determined to be a singer, no matter what it takes. So when two angels of death pay her a visit to inform her that she has only one year left to live, she redoubles her efforts to make her dreams of superstardom come true. All this, and she makes plans to win the heart of the boy she loves. It's one whirlwind year in this anime series!
