Joe's glorious motorcycle racing career suffers a double whammy when first his license gets suspended and then a big-time racer (David Wu Tai-wai) joins his father's racing team with plans to take Joe down. No sooner does Joe (Andy Lau) get his license back then a serious accident almost kills him, landing him in the hospital for an extended stay. Now the young racer has nothing to do but think about his life and what he wants out of it.
