GTO: The Movie

This live-action movie is based on the popular Japanese television serial, which in turn was based on a popular manga. Eikichi Onizuka (Takashi Sorimachi), the world's best -- and most unorthodox -- high school teacher, travels to a small rural town on the island of Hokkaido, where he once again helps troubled students as they struggle with growing up. All the while, a nosy reporter tracks Eikichi's every step. Masayuki Suzuki directs.
