Gaby: A True Story

Based on the life of cerebral palsy sufferer Gabriela Brimmer (played by Rachel Levin), this unsentimental drama celebrates strength in the face of adversity. It takes the family maid (Norma Aleandro, who snagged an Oscar nod for the role) to discover the keen mind trapped in the girl's incapacitated body. Armed with determination and a lust for life, young Gaby soon succeeds beyond anyone's wildest dreams -- except hers.
