Giant turtle and protector of humankind Gamera returns as his planet is stunned by a meteor shower that unleashes a deadly cluster of colossal insects designed to destroy any land with which they make contact. As Gamera prepares to save the day, the creatures set off a massive blast that annihilates everything nearby -- even Gamera. Will the inhabitants of the land be able to revive him in time for him to save their home?
