Tasked with bringing down notorious mobster Mickey Roman (Jack La Rue), undercover cop Bob Elliott (John Archer) enlists the help of vengeful female ex-con Rita Adams (Joan Woodbury) and ambitious young reporter Jimmy Kelly (Alan Ladd) in this 1941 crime thriller. Directed by the venerable Phil Rosen, this low-budget noir also features performances by George Pembroke, Phillip Trent, Gavin Gordon and William Halligan.
