In Bangkok, Thailand, a group of workers excavating a tunnel stumbles across the fossilized remains of an ancient creature -- and that's just the beginning. Soon, their cohorts have awakened Garuda, a giant mythological bird hell-bent on destruction. Now, it's up to a young archaeologist (Sara Legge) and her partner (Dan Fraser) -- who get some high-tech assistance from the military -- to stop the winged monster from terrorizing the city.
