In this adaptation of William Goodhart's Broadway play, the generation gap takes center stage when Chicago businessman Jim Bolton (David Janssen) learns that his daughter, Doris (Kim Darby), is pregnant and living in Greenwich Village. Hightailing it to the Big Apple, Bolton finds his worst fears confirmed: Not only has Doris married her hippie beau (Pete Duel), she's relying on him to deliver the couple's baby ... at home.
