Generic Thriller

When Steven (Daniel Hart Donoghue), a gay theater professor, sets out to write a "generic thriller," things take a decidedly nongeneric twist when first his cast tries to take over the production and then the characters themselves vie for control. Ultimately, however, the battle takes place in Steven's head as several of his creations -- including one named Mr. Vertigo (after a teacher and former lover) -- take on minds of their own.
