Set in the 23rd century, when women vastly outnumber men and superior humans are created through genetic engineering, this anime series centers on a team of women who set out in the spaceship Biklis to save Earth from an alien threat. When a giant ring appears in the sky, Mika and her team are sent to uncover the mystery. On the dangerous mission, the women rely on a powerful weapon called the shaft to stop the rings from destroying humankind.
