Walt Morey's classic novel is adapted for the screen in this wilderness adventure. Mark (Reiley McClendon) is a lonely boy sent to live with his uncle (Dean Cain) in Alaska, where he forges an unlikely friendship with a brown bear named Ben. Corbin Bernsen plays the nefarious land developer who poses a threat to both Ben and the local ecosystem. William Katt and Ashley Laurence co-star.
