Art critic Heinz Peter Schwerfel explores two phases of renowned German artist Georg Baselitz's career in this engaging documentary. The first features a 1987 interview during a major retrospective of the artist's work at Bonn's Bundeskunsthalle. The second includes another interview, this one from 2004, in which Baselitz reflects on his own comments from the earlier conversation and offers insights into the nature of his then-current work.
