The first two seasons of this hit ABC sitcom unfold with an introduction to blue-collar factory worker George Lopez (played by stand-up comedian George Lopez, in his television debut) and his extended Los Angeles family. The household comprises his wife Angie (Constance Marie), daughter Carmen (Masiela Lusha), son Max (Luis Armand Garcia), best friend Ernie (Valente Rodriguez) and George's overbearing mother, Benny (Belita Moreno).
