Founded in 1995 by Sir Georg Solti as a symbol of international peace, The World Orchestra for Peace is composed of 79 extraordinary musicians from 45 of the world's greatest orchestras. On this commemorative video that marks the 10-year anniversary of the ensemble, Solti conducts the orchestra in their first-ever concert, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the United Nations. Extras include an interview with Solti and rehearsal footage.
