Renowned mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli sings the role of Nina in this production of Giovanni Paisiello's rarely performed opera. When her father (László Polgár) insists that she marry a wealthy suitor instead of the man that she loves, Nina goes insane. With Nina ranting and raving uncontrollably, her loyal maid, Susanna (Juliette Galstian), implores Nina's father to change his mind. Adam Fischer conducts.
