Three great stars take on Verdi's operatic interpretation of the Shakespeare tragedy. Barbara Frittoli as Desdemona, Leo Nucci as Iago and Placido Domingo as the Moor won raves for this December 2001 performance at Milan's famed Teatro alla Scala. The show brought the house down -- literally. It was the farewell production before a three-year renovation closed the theater. Domingo also called the show his last in the title role.
