Based on a true story, this gripping thriller, which was screened at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival, attempts to explain how teenagers Stan (Egbert Jan Weeber) and Malkel (Tygo Gernhandt) end up at a point of no return. Eager to make a quick buck, the two accidentally take the life of a bystander during a heist and soon get pulled into the seamy side of mob life. To complicate matters further, Stan's fallen for Malkel's girl.
