Featuring stars such as Vincent Price, Lee Marvin and others, this collection includes eight hard-boiled tales of crime and punishment first broadcast on 1950s-era TV shows "The Veil," "Suspense," "The Star and the Story" and "Four Star Playhouse." Among the stories is "Summer Heat," in which a psychiatrist (Boris Karloff) treats a client who swears he witnessed a murder in his apartment complex -- even though the cops can find no trace of violence.
