Lee Marvin, Walter Matthau, Joanne Woodward and other ace actors populate this hard-boiled collection of seven half-hour episodes from the 1950s anthology series "Four Star Playhouse," "Suspense," "The Star" and "The Story." Ida Lupino, Merle Oberon, Charles Boyer and others also appear in the assemblage of suspenseful tales, which features early work by future directing masters Blake Edwards and Robert Mulligan.
