In this anime series, viewers follow the adventures of Kintaro Oe. Once he completes the course work required for his college degree in Tokyo, he abandons university life and starts traveling from place to place in search of meaning. As life goes on around him, he records his observations and questions in his notebook. Perhaps the "golden girl" he meets and decides to pursue -- with hilarious results -- will help him find answers.
