Pierce Brosnan takes his first turn as debonair MI6 agent James Bond, who -- with his sophisticated gadgets and signature Aston Martin -- investigates the destruction of a Russian satellite weapons base with the help of the massacre's sole survivor (Izabella Scorupco). Through brawls with the sultry and deadly villain Xenia Onatopp (Famke Janssen), Bond uncovers an international crime syndicate whose next target is London.
