This Amos Gitai film -- the third in a series of three about the Golem, a mythical stone creature that comes alive through the help of a rabbi -- stars Hannah Shygulla and Marisa Paredes and features the genius of filmmakers Sam Fuller and Bernardo Bertolucci. This time around, a woman and her sisters are driven away from their homeland when their husbands die. Will they survive with the help of the Golem, and how?
