Well, golly! Jim Nabors returns for a fifth and final season of this endearing television classic as the affably inept U.S. Marine from Mayberry with a knack for hilarious high jinks and mild-mannered misadventure. Season highlights include Gomer and Sgt. Carter squaring off for the hand of a beautiful actress, and the platoon lands their big break when they get the chance to sing in an upcoming Hollywood movie.
