When three hapless siblings -- Monty (Jim Broadbent), a wannabe country singer; Winston (Warren Clarke), a one-eyed wrestler; and Hilda (Alison Steadman), a bashful soccer fan -- inherit a nursery, they must fight to save it from the clutches of a greedy developer. But will the trio, who can't seem to stop quarreling over the smallest trifle, be able to set their differences aside and band together to save their family legacy?
