Solidly hitting its comedic stride in its second season, this one-time mid-season replacement show became a staple of 1970s sitcoms. In this round, JJ joins a gang, Thelma announces plans to marry a much-older man, and James finds some stolen cash. Created by Norman Lear, "Good Times" was notable for its unique characters played by actors (Ralph Carter, Ja'net DuBois, Jimmie Walker and others) who meshed well on-screen.
