When his wealthy employer, Chester Hamilton (Sidney Blackmer), loans him a handsome sum to pay off a greedy ex-wife, butler Oswald Groggs (Charlie Ruggles) uses half of the money to send himself on an extravagant seaside vacation. While on holiday, however, he's mistaken for a billionaire bachelor playboy and attracts the attention of a gorgeous gold digger (Verree Teasdale), a girl who also has her eyes on Hamilton ... and his deep pockets!
