Husband-and-wife opera singers Angela Gheorghiu and Roberto Alagna, reprising their roles from a New York Metropolitan Opera production, play the famed star-crossed lovers in this filmed version of Charles Gounod's opera. Director Barbara Willis Sweete stages the action in a grand Czech castle, while conductor Anton Guadagno leads the Czech Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra in this rousing performance.
