Greaser's Palace

In this unique spin on the New Testament, a zoot-suited drifter named Jessy (Allan Arbus) discovers he has the power to heal. He strolls the country performing miracles, but he'd rather be performing his song-and-dance act. As he builds a following, Jessy gets a chance to be onstage when he's booked into the Palace -- a club run by the ruthless Seaweed Greaser (Albert Henderson). The act's a hit, but only after Jessy's made some enemies.
