The popular animated biblical series presents one of the greatest underdog stories of all time. The Israelites are living in terror of the brutal Philistine army, when David, a young shepherd boy, volunteers to fight their giant, Goliath. With nothing but a meager slingshot, David knocks down the hulking bully. David's bravery and faith in God help the Israelites defeat a seemingly unstoppable enemy, and David is appointed king of Israel.
