Returning home from duty, young soldier Makdong (Suk-kyu Han) finds his family struggling to make ends meet until a chance meeting with gangster's mistress Mi-ae (Hye-jin Shim) leads Makdong to a lucrative criminal underworld in this Korean thriller. After he rescues Mi-ae from thugs, the encounter prompts an introduction to mob boss Bae Tae-kon (Seong-kun Mun), who adds Makdong to his crew -- thrusting him into a life of violence and treachery.
