In director William Girdler's forest-based thriller that has a Jaws feel to it, an innocent trip to the state park turns into terror for all vistors when a giant 18-foot grizzly bear emerges from the thick woods. Just when it looks like there's no stopping the durable bruin, park ranger Michael Kelly (Christopher George) hatches a plan -- but will a group of boozy hunters foil it? Andrew Prine plays a helicoper pilot who might get swatted down.
