In the first season of this beloved, long-running 1980s sitcom, Maggie Seaver (Joanna Kerns) dumps the stay-at-home-mom formula and goes back to work as a journalist, while husband Jason (Alan Thicke) keeps the home fires burning as a work-from-home psychiatrist. Meanwhile, their children -- hormone-driven teenager Mike (Kirk Cameron), esteem-challenged Carol (Tracey Gold) and quirky, charming Ben (Jeremy Miller) -- keep things interesting.
