Resuming the action as the war between Earth Federation and Zeon draws to a close, this edition of the popular anime series follows 10-year-old Al Izuruha, who longs to be a Gundam flier. When he befriends downed pilot Bernie Wiseman, the naïve youngster has no inkling that Bernie is part of a squad of Zeon saboteurs sent to destroy the federation's new Gundam prototype. But if their mission falls short, there'll be nuclear hell to pay.
