An inexperienced young military officer named Shiro Amada can't believe his luck -- or is it a curse? -- when he's given command of the 08th Mobile Suit Team, a squadron of giant humanoid robots designed to help the Federation fight off the evil Principality of Zeon. When his unit is sent to liberate a village occupied by Zeon forces, Shiro's fledgling skills are put to the test … but can he rise to the occasion when it counts?
