Frank Morgan (Lance Henriksen) is a notorious gunfighter who's spent most of his life on the lam. Learning that a former flame, Linda (Kay Lenz), seeks his help, Frank comes running -- only to discover that Linda is now happily married and her only link to the past is a daughter that happens to be Frank's. When Linda begs Frank to protect her husband from vengeful criminals, will he help her or turn his back on the woman he can no longer have?
