Marshall Matt Dillon (James Arness) once again patrols the streets of Dodge City in this film, the first of five made-for-TV movie sequels to the long-running television series "Gunsmoke." Matt's retired but still living in Dodge City when an old enemy is released from prison and shows up at the sheriff's doorstep intent on revenge. Amanda Blake co-stars as "Miss Kitty," and Buck Taylor again portrays Matt's faithful friend Newly O'Brien.
