Longtime friends Ho (Lau Ching-Wan) and Lok (Francis Ng) rise to rule the underworld in this combination thriller-action-romance. Ho joins the local Triad gang and marries the boss's sister (Diana Peng). Meanwhile, Lok enters the Hong Kong police force -- which proves to be just as corrupt -- and his wife (Athena Chu) begins to fall for Ho. When the friends find themselves at the center of an investigation, their reign of the streets may be over.
