Haasil is the story of the love between Anirudh and Niharika, two students at Allahabad University. The combined pressures of small-town society and the opposition of their families create many hurdles for the young lovers. Can Anirudh and Niharika make love blossom against the formidable odds they face? The answer is revealed in a stunning climax that occurs against the backdrop of the Maha Kumbh Mela.
