In A Stolen Face (1952), a badly scarred female inmate goes under the knife only to discover that the plastic surgeon has made her into his dream girl. Then, in Blackout (1954), after a carefree man agrees to marry a beautiful woman in exchange for a large sum of cash, he learns he's been set up for murder.
