British thespian Edward Woodward takes a crack at playing one of the most revered detectives in the annals of criminal history and literature: Sherlock Holmes. With his trusted confidant, Dr. Watson (John Hillerman), by his side, Holmes is hot on the trail of his nemesis, the dastardly Professor Moriarty (Anthony Andrews), who once again is putting the city of London under a fearful watch as he plots to unseat the government.
