While vacationing with his wife in Biarritz, France, one-armed Robinson (Mathieu Amalric) embarks on a torrid, ultimately obsessive affair with a gorgeous Spanish woman (Omahyra) and pursues her to what might literally be the end of the world. Directors Arnaud and Jean-Marie Larrieu craft a tale of haunted desire set against an apocalyptic backdrop that both effects and reflects Robinson's journey toward true, if fleeting, love.
