Mario Van Peebles directs and co-stars in this fast-paced action-thriller in which seemingly disparate stories converge in an explosive climax that pushes everyone's luck to the limits. A former drug dealer (Wesley Snipes) tries to go straight but ends up stealing millions of dollars, kidnapping a pole dancer and running from the police. Meanwhile, a middle-aged suburban housewife (Cybill Shepherd) hides a sadistic and vicious streak.
