In this anime series, 10-year-old Hare loves life in his tropical village until his mother adopts Guu, an orphaned girl who appears sweet and innocent -- but reveals her true nature to Hare when no one else is watching. It turns out that Guu possesses extraordinary powers and a voracious appetite. She eats everything from whole coconuts to people to elephants -- and whatever she eats is transported into another world in an alternate dimension.
