In the wake of a health scare, Dave Hart (Beau Bridges) ditches his dead-end job as a lingerie salesman for a simpler life out West. Pulling up stakes, he relocates with his wife (Harley Jane Kozak), daughter (Meghann Haldeman) and sons (Sean Murray and Nathan Watt) to a tumbledown ranch in Sholo, Nev. This short-lived television drama also stars Beau's real-life father, Lloyd Bridges, who plays curmudgeonly cowboy Jake Tyrell.
