G.G. Allin, lead singer of the Murder Junkies and cult icon of the 1980s underground punk scene, made Sid Vicious look like Pat Boone. Allin's onstage performance art -- equal parts guerilla and gorilla -- included him flinging excrement and performing violent acts against himself and others. Hated was completed just before Allin's death from an overdose in 1991. Director Todd Phillips went on to direct Road Trip and Starsky and Hutch.
