Camels invade Texas in this slapstick comedy about a military experiment gone wrong. When the horses of a Texas-based cavalry unit can't take the heat, Howard Clemmons (James Hampton) is charged with testing camels as an alternative. It's a bumpy ride at first, but the soldiers soon grow attached to their humped steeds. Mayhem ensues when the men are ordered to release the camels into the wild. Slim Pickens, Denver Pyle and Jack Elam also star.
