Leonard Bernstein conducts the Symphonieorchester und Chor des Bayerischen Rundfunks in this opulent performance of Josef Haydn's oratorio masterwork "The Creation," filmed live in 1986 in the sanctuary of a Benedictine abbey. The cast includes tenor Thomas Moser as Uriel; bass Kurt Moll as Raphael; baritone Kurt Ollmann as Adam; and sopranos Lucia Popp and Judith Blegen as Eva and Gabriel, respectively.
