Shin (Jô Odagiri) left Japan in search of "hazard," a word he adopted to describe the most exciting kind of danger, and he finds it on the streets of New York City, where he takes up with a pair of criminals (Jai West and Motoki Fukami) who conveniently speak his language. Sion Sono directs this modern coming-of-age tale that explores what happens when you get what you wish for -- and end up selling frozen treats laced with speed.
